Wild About Trial Live Stream: Closing Arguments in Aaron Hernandez Murder Trial
Lawyers in the murder trial of former New England Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez are set to deliver closing arguments to the jury, after a trial that has lasted more than two months and featured testimony from 135 witnesses, along with hundreds of pieces of evidence.
After closing arguments, the judge will give instructions to the jury. Deliberations are expected to begin Tuesday afternoon.
The prosecution has accused Hernandez of murdering Odin Lloyd in June 2013. According to the Boston Herald, Jenkins, who was granted immunity in February, has been accused of tossing the murder weapon, hiding the Nike sneakers Hernandez was supposedly wearing at the crime scene, and lying to the grand jury.
