George Clooney Gushes About Wife Amal
Actor George Clooney can't say enough wonderful things about his wife of five months, Amal Clooney.
Speaking with “Extra's” AJ Calloway at the SeriousFun Children's Network gala in NYC, Clooney beamed, “I really love my wife. I'm having a great time and I'm very proud of her, couldn't be more proud of the things she does.”
Clooney hit the red carpet with fellow actor and friend Danny DeVito, and explained Amal's absence. “She's trying to get a guy out of prison in Egypt. I think so, so she's working, she's got a lot of stuff to do.”
Clooney and DeVito were happy to be supporting a good cause and having fun together, and poked fun at Calloway. George laughed, “He crashed my wedding! He dressed nicely though. He always dresses nicely.”
Calloway added, “He gave me a bottle of tequila, so it made up for everything.” George winked, “Know how much trouble we get in with booze, Danny?” Danny jokingly replied, “I'm staying away from it… at least until after the show.”
