Michael Strahan Has Fun Plans for Critics’ Choice Awards

TV personality Michael Strahan is gearing up to host the 2015 Critics' Choice Awards on Thursday, telling “Extra's” Tracey Edmonds what viewers can expect.
Strahan revealed, “You may get a little dance, maybe a little dance, maybe some costume changes, a little funny. We're going to have some fun here. We don't want stiffness here.”
Michael said he is honored to be a part of the event. “I can't believe when they called and asked and I jumped at it.”
Strahan is having fun with all of his jobs! He keeps busy with “Live with Kelly and Michael,” “Good Morning America,” and more, but he says he gets plenty of sleep.
He laughed, “I get more sleep than probably most Americans get. I love everything I do. I have fun. I don't have a job that is a chore… For me to wake up every morning, I'm excited to do what I do. It doesn't feel like work to me and it doesn't feel like I'm stressed. When you play football for 15 years, that's a different job, that I consider a stressful job.”
There wasn't even any stress for Strahan when he was assigned to dance with the Rockettes over the holiday season. Edmonds was impressed with his high kick, “To be honest with you, I shot with the Rockettes, saw it and was like, 'Oh my goodness, I did that!' The next day, the next three days I could not feel my hamstrings, so my high kick days are over, over, done!”
Strahan is kicking the Critics' Choice Awards into high gear on Thursday night on A&E.
