Casey Kasem’s Body Is Still on the Move
Nearly two months since he died, Casey Kasem's body has yet to be laid to rest.
Kasem's remains are currently in a Montreal funeral home, after being moved there from Washington State by his widow, Jean Kasem.
Now sources tell TMZ that Jean is trying to make arrangements to have his body flown to Europe, possibly Oslo, Norway.
The Santa Monica Police Dept. is investigating Jean for elder abuse, stemming from a complaint filed by Kasem's eldest daughter, Kerri. She and her two other siblings believe Jean is trying to evade authorities.
They are also trying hard to get a court order to keep the body in Montreal so a proper autopsy can be performed.
Casey Kasem died June 15 at a hospice in Gig Harbor, Washington. He was 82.
