Megan Fox Enjoys Being a Mom, and Kicking Butt with ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’
“Extra’s” Renee Bargh sat down with Megan Fox to talk about her upcoming reboot of the popular “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series and about how she loves being a mom to sons Noah, almost 2, and 4-month-old Bodhi.
Fox gushed, “I enjoy being a mom. I enjoy motherhood, and I think that helps you wear it well when you enjoy it.”
The actress was pregnant with Bodhi while shooting “TMNT.” “I am just sick all the time the first three months, so you’re like, you’re puking, you’re eating saltines, you’re like crying, you’re so emotional, everything makes you cry. It’s an interesting thing to do [filming] while you’re pregnant.”
Fox explained she’ll show Bodhi the movie when he’s older. “I can watch the movie, and I can show Bodhi and say you were in every scene of this movie, so it’s special in that sense.”
“TMNT” is also special to her. “I think I was 4 or 5 the first time I saw it with my sister and I’ve been in love with the franchise my whole life. As an adult I still geek out on it… I made [husband] Brian [Austin Green] watch all the movies. This is the first movie I’ve ever done where I was genuinely so excited when I got the part… I jumped, screamed, danced.”
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” hits theaters August 8.
