Khloé Kardashian Needs a ‘Good Fresh Start’ in the New Year

Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian is ready for 2014 to begin. As the Cosmopolitan UK cover girl for their January issue, Khloé talked with the magazine about “new beginnings."

"I love the new year, new beginnings," said the 29-year-old. "I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with.”

The youngest Kardashian sister filed for divorce earlier this month from husband Lamar Odom. She added, “We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life."

In the interview, Khloé also talked about losing 30 pounds on a healthy diet, and recalled a painful childhood memory in which she overheard her own mother, Kris Jenner, tell someone that her daughter needed cosmetic surgery.

Khloé said, "Words are the most powerful weapon; they can leave scars forever… she didn't mean harm, but when I was around 9 I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn't even thought about it."

Kardashian added that she's "grown into her face" and that she's glad she opted to stay out of the plastic surgeon's office. "I don't regret anything about my life. My life has made me who I am at this moment and I'm very happy with who I am."
