Pic! Beyoncé Surprises Shoppers at Walmart
Beyoncé is full of surprises! After shocking fans by releasing a new album on iTunes last week, she celebrated her CD debut on Friday with an unannounced visit to Walmart.
At around 7 PM, Queen Bey showed up at the Tewksbury, MA location. Wearing a matching aqua crop top and skirt, she strolled the aisles, pushing her own cart while grabbing a copy of her self-titled record and doing some last-minute Christmas shopping for daughter Blue Ivy.
Not only did she greet fans at the store, she left each person with a gift! A store manager told Us Weekly, that each shopper received a $50 gift card from Bey. In all she purchased 750 cards worth $37,500!
The "Beyonce" album – which each came with a video -- was a smash hit, going platinum in less than a week! Dec. 20 marked the first day that physical copies were available for purchase.
