‘Philomena’ Stars Talk Faith and Judi Dench
The British indie gem “Philomena” tells the true story of Philomena Lee (Judi Dench), a simple Irish woman who enlists the help of veteran journalist Martin Sixsmith (Steve Coogan) to find her long-lost son who was taken away from her by an Irish Catholic convent 50 years ago.
ExtraTV.com spoke with star, writer and producer Coogan and actress Sophie Kennedy Clark -- who portrays Philomena when she was a teenager – about how the film handles faith and working with the great Dame Judi Dench.
“Philomena” opens in limited theaters this Friday.
