Kerry Washington Is the ‘World’s Best-Dressed Woman’
“Scandal” star Kerry Washington was named by People magazine as the “World's Best-Dressed Woman” in their special double issue last month.
The 36-year-old told People, “I don't wear a lot of pants! You won't see me in a power suit. That's Olivia, not Kerry,” she added, referring to the character she portrays on “Scandal.”
Washington credits her stylist of two years, Erin Walsh. Kerry explained, “When I go somewhere I want to know I'm going to be comfortable and I'm dressed appropriately for the event. You're not going to dress the same way at the Inaugural ball as you would at the MTV Movie Awards.”
