Dustin Hoffman Successfully Completes Cancer Treatment
Actor Dustin Hoffman underwent treatment for an undisclosed cancer and was “surgically cured.”
Hoffman's rep told People.com, "It was detected early and he has been surgically cured. Dustin is feeling great and is in good health."
Although the rep declined to give any further information, including what type of cancer it was, she did say the two-time Oscar winner, 75, will continue doctor-recommended preventative treatments to minimize the chance of a recurrence.
Hoffman has spent the last year promoting his directorial debut, “Quartet,” and recently wrapped production on the Jon Favreau-directed film “Chef.”
