Cory Monteith's Mother Breaks Silence About 'Extremely Emotional Time'
Ann McGregor, mother of "Glee" star Cory Monteith, broke her silence on Twitter this week, thanking fans for their “overwhelming” support following the death of her son.
"I would like to thank all of Cory's supporters at this extremely emotional time," she tweeted. "Your support has been overwhelming… thank you!"
McGregor also let followers know that “the person releasing articles relating to my feelings and thoughts on how to take care of Cory's ashes has never been in contact with me." She added, "I have never met or spoken to this person. He does not represent me or my wishes."
Cory's girlfriend Lea Michele tweeted for the first time on Monday, writing, “Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”
