The royal baby is officially on the way! Kate Middleton and Prince William raced to the hospital just before 6 AM on Monday, when Kate went into labor.
So far, everything is going as planned. A royal announcement explained that the Duchess of Cambridge took a car from Kensington Palace to St. Mary's Hospital, where she checked into the private Lindo Wing (the same hospital where Prince William was born).
Earlier reports claimed that Dr. Marcus Setchell, Queen Elizabeth II's former gynecologist, would deliver the little one and that Kate planned on a natural birth.
