Bye, Y’all: Sears and Kmart Jump the Paula Deen Ship
TV cooking personality Paula Deen has lost two more sponsors in the wake of her racial slur scandal.
Sears Holdings, owner of Sears and Kmart stores, said in a statement, "After careful consideration of all available information, we have made the decision to phase out all products tied to [Paula Deen's] brand."
They also added, “We will continue to evaluate the situation."
Deen has already lost ties with The Food Network, Smithfield Foods, Target and Walmart, while QVC is simply “taking a break.”
