Actress Olivia Munn, co-star of HBO's “The Newsroom,” sat down with Marie Claire magazine to discuss her anxiety, a few pet peeves and why she has a stun gun on her nightstand.
Last year, the 32-year-old star revealed that she suffers from an impulsive disorder called trichotillomania, which gives people the urge to pull out their hair. She explains that she is “trying to overcome my social anxiety," and noted a few things that really push her buttons; “Junk mail, yoga, people who start small talk with you in lines.”
When revealing items on her nightstand, she names nothing out of the ordinary, until she includes what's next to the strawberry lip balm and Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Cream... a 980,000-volt stun gun. “For protection," she explains.
