Report: Nina Dobrev and ‘Vampire’ BF Ian Somerhalder Split
“The Vampire Diaries” co-stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have ended their real-life relationship, says UsWeekly.com.
A source told Us that Dobrev and Somerhalder are "consummate professionals” and "will continue to work together and remain best friends, which is where the relationship started."
Last year, Dobrev talked about the romance with Seventeen magazine, admitting, "I didn't want to be dating one of my co-stars -- my goal on the show was to be professional. But sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long -- which I did for a really, really long time."
The two took their romance public in 2011. “The Vampire Diaries” was recently renewed by the CW for a fifth season.
