Halle Berry on What Scares Her Most
“Extra’s” Terri Seymour caught up with the lovely Halle Berry at the L.A. premiere of “The Call,” talking about the harrowing thriller… and what frightens her.
“Spiders,” admitted the actress. “Daddy Long Legs. I know they can't hurt you. They're the most gentle spider… I've been told many times. But when a Daddy Long Legs comes near me, my head blows off.”
As for the film, in which she plays a 911 operator trying to save the life of a teenage kidnap victim, Berry said, “It's scary. I thought about [the movie] the same way when I saw it the first time… and I made the movie and knew everything that was going to happen!”
The Oscar winner said she’d be a terrible call operator. “I'm far too emotional. I'd start crying and I'd be like, ‘Okay girl, I'm coming over right now! Stay put!’”
“The Call” opens in theaters March 15.
