Video! Charlie Sheen Urges Alleged Cop Killer to Call Him
Actor Charlie Sheen reached out to suspected murderer Christopher Dorner after the former LAPD police officer mentioned the “Anger Management” star in his manifesto.
In a 17-second video, Sheen urged Dorner to call him so they could talk things out.
"Christopher Dorner, this is Charlie Sheen. You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I am urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing. Call me, I look forward to talking with you," the actor said in the video.
Along with praising several stars, Dorner wrote that Sheen was "effin awesome," in his manifesto titled, "Last resort."
As of February 10, Dorner, who allegedly killed three people and wounded two others, remains at large.
The Los Angeles Police Department announced on Monday it was offering a $1 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Dorner.
"This is the largest local reward ever offered, to our knowledge," Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said at a news conference. "This is an act of domestic terrorism. This is a man who has targeted those that we entrust to protect the public. His actions cannot go unanswered."
