Madonna started the show with a bang, busting out of the glass window of a confessional with a rifle to perform “Girl Gone Wild,” reports the Associated Press. Fittingly, she enlisted a group of monks as back-up dancers. Then, it was blood stains and firearms during “Gang Bang,” followed by a Kalashnikov rifle wielding performance of “Revolver.”
It was no surprise that Madonna poked fun at Lady Gaga with a mash up of “Express Yourself,” “Born this Way” and “She's Not Me,” after video of her rehearsing the combo surfaced earlier this week. Watch the video!
The mother of four, 53, made the show a family affair, inviting her 11-year old Rocco on stage. The little guy, Madonna's son with Guy Ritchie, donned a monk's robe, blue shirt and orange headphones for the gig.
