Report: Whitney Houston Had Water in Her Lungs
Although official autopsy results are still pending, Whitney Houston may have had water in her lungs, according to unnamed law enforcement sources cited by TMZ.
The medical examiners, however, have yet to determine exactly how much fluid was present before they can rule whether she died as a result of drowning.
There is speculation that Houston may have fallen asleep or lapsed into unconsciousness in the bathtub and subsequently drowned.
But according to sources, authorities have not yet determined whether Houston died before she was submerged in the water.
Toxicology results will take 4-6 weeks.
