Supermodel Heidi Klum broke her silence on Wednesday for the first time since announcing her split from Seal, her husband of seven years. The "Project Runway" host took to Twitter, writing, "Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words. Really means so much. Thanks again...to the best fans in the world!"
The message was posted following Seal's guest appearance on several shows last week while he promoted his new album, "Soul 2." The singer appeared on "Extra" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and spoke openly about the breakup, insisting he will keep wearing his wedding ring, and that he still has the utmost respect for Klum.
When Seal appeared as a guest at The Grove and spoke with "Extra's" Mario Lopez, he said didn't know if there would be reconciliation with Heidi, saying, "That's not something you think about during this time."
It was rumored that the cause of their split stemmed from Seal's hot temper and their careers moving in different directions.
Over the weekend, Seal, 48, was spotted in France after attending the NRJ Music Awards 2012. His estranged wife was in L.A., tending to their four children -- shuttling them to their many classes and activities -- including Leni's ballet lesson.
