People: Kim Kardashian's 'Heavenly' Wedding
Posing in one of her three $20,000 Vera Wang gowns on the cover of People, Kim Kardashian is happy to report her wedding experience exceeded her expectations, saying, "It was like we were in heaven."
Husband Kris Humphries added, "I'm going to remember how perfect it was."
The reality event, airing on E! in October, was the talk of the town, with 440 friends, family and Hollywood A-listers in attendance at the $20-million estate in Montecito, Calif. on August 20.
Kim's wedding planner, Sharon Sacks, said the black-and-white themed event stemmed from the couple's desire for their big day to have a "Hollywood royalty feeling."
Meanwhile, Kris's New Jersey Nets teammates have dubbed a new nickname for the basketball forward -- calling him Kate Middleton, according to the NY Post. The moniker was given to him since Humphries is now married to "royalty."
The happy couple is currently on a short European honeymoon before heading to NYC where they will continue their wedding celebration and settle down.
People's exclusive photos of Kim and Kris will hit newsstands on Friday. Her "Fairytale Wedding" will air on October 9 and 10 on E!.
