Bieber Backstage After the Selena Kiss That Spawned Death Threats
"Extra" was at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, talking with all the stars, including Justin Bieber -- after he planted a big smooch on his GF, Selena Gomez.
After being named Top New Artist, he kissed his lady sitting next to him, marking the first time they've showed PDA in front of cameras.
Backstage, when asked by our correspondent Adriana Costa how good it was to have Gomez by his side, Bieber said, "It is. She's great!" Earlier, Costa talked with Gomez on the red carpet, and the Disney Channel said she was looking forward to having a mellow night. "I get to present and just support Taylor and Justin and just hang out."
The fond affection was not appreciated by some Bieber fans, who sent a flurry of death threats to Gomez on the Internet.
