'Idol' Goes Wild with Kisses and F-Bombs
It was the "American Idol" kiss felt 'round the world, and the F-bomb that blew it up.
"Idol" contestant Casey Abrams made judge Jennifer Lopez blush when he ended his rendition of the Maroon 5 song "Harder to Breathe" by getting up close to Lopez and kissing her on the cheek. Watch the performance!
"See, now Casey's not playing fair!" the blushing judge laughed, adding, "Casey's got soft lips." Lopez's cohort Steven Tyler told Casey, "You did what I've been trying to do for four months!"
And that's not the only thing Tyler shouted out to Casey. The unpredictable judge also dropped the F-bomb while praising the singer's talent. "You already are a cult hero! There are millions of people in America that are really angry because you pissed them off. You're f**king good!"
"Extra" was inside the theater at the time and saw a flurry of activity during the commercial break, in which producers ran up to Tyler to tell him to cool it or they'll get fined. Lopez told "Extra's" Mario Lopez last month, "That's one of the great things about Steven. You never know what's gonna come out of his mouth, so spontaneous, so crazy!"
In other J.Lo news, EW.com reports she and husband Marc Anthony are developing their own reality singing competition, searching for the next big thing in Latin America. The show is tentatively titled "Que Viva."
