Kate Hudson's Pregnancy Brain, 'Like Being Stoned'
Expectant mother Kate Hudson spoke to "Extra's" Renee Bargh about her latest film, "Something Borrowed," and about how her pregnancy is going. "Being pregnant is wonderful. You do get the pregnant mush-brain... you know what it's like? It's like getting stoned."
Kate, who has a 7-year-old-son Ryder with Chris Robinson, explained what her doctor said to her after learning she was pregnant for the second time. "My doctor looked and me and goes, 'So let's try not to gain 68 pounds this pregnancy.'" Hudson replied that she's wasn't "promising anything."
The actress revealed her son is hoping for a brother, but her maternal instincts tell her it's a girl. "It seems like my family female lineage... she's just wild in there, just dancing all over."
In Kate's newest film, she plays Darcy, who finds out the man she stole gets back with her best friend. Hudson, who is dating Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, says her personal dating life is pretty straightforward. "I play the honest card, always. If you're done with someone and you're looking in another direction, I'll be the first to tell you I'm looking in another direction."
"Something Borrowed" co-stars Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski and opens in theaters May 6.
