Report: 'Idol' Castoff Pia Toscano Escorted Off Stage by Medic
As the world heard the shocking news "American Idol" favorite Pia Toscano had been voted off Thursday night, the singer herself had a rough time processing it all -- even was helped off the stage by a medic, reports Life & Style Weekly.

"I was getting very lightheaded," Pia, 22, told Life & Style. "To be in the position I was in last night was a bit much and a little overwhelming." She admitted she tried to take deep breaths as she sang her last song, the Pretenders' "I'll Stand By You," but it "wasn't working out."
Toscano seemed in much better spirits Friday morning, doing interviews on the morning shows.
When contacted by "Extra," FOX had "no comment."
Tune in to "Extra" Monday, April 11, for our interview with the talented singer, in which she'll talk about what lies ahead!
