'Kate Plus 8': Kate Gosselin's Life-Changing Event
The new season of TLC's "Kate Plus 8" follows the family as they travel across the globe to Australia and soak up the culture, warm weather, and learn about the animals that are unique to the territory.
The Gosselin family had exciting encounters with sharks, alligators, and koala bears. Kate described a "life-changing event" -- "I fell in love with a koala."
Kate Gosselin and her eight kids have returned to Pennsylvania, and the busy mom tells "Extra" about the new experiences they shared, including bungee jumping. She described the terrifying moment as she literally went off the edge! "I never stood on top of a tall building, let alone jumped off of it."
Perhaps Kate's adventurous spirit was awakened during her trip to Australia, as she hinted about a possible return to "Dancing with the Stars"! "I might give it another go," she contemplated.
The single mother also spoke about her ex, Jon, and his new job working in construction. "He has something to focus on, which is good for everybody." When asked what kind of man she's looking for, she replied, "He's got to be made of steel and wear that Superman outfit."
