Calling All Would-Be Canine Stars! Arf!
Photographer Andrew Grant's "Rover" is a museum-quality, hardcover tribute to man's best friend -- in all its many colors, shapes and sizes.
With over 400 up-close images in stunning detail, Grant truly captures the unique exteriors of dozens of dogs and their diverse personalities and emotions. Nearly all of the dogs featured in Rover once lived in a rescue or shelter. All proceeds from the book are going to pet charities.
"Extra" stopped by a photo shoot and got the lowdown from Grant!

Carmel & Monterey Casting Call
Join us on April 17, 2011 for a fundraiser and Rover casting call at the Cypress Inn and the Carmel Bay Company in Carmel, California. Dog training, grooming and a raffle for thousands of dollars of unique pet merchandise including a custom made dog house! All proceeds will benefit an area rescue.
Los Gatos Casting Call
Join us on April 23, 2011 for a fundraiser and Rover casting call at the Maid's Quarters in Los Gatos, California. All proceeds will benefit an area rescue.
Wine & Bitch
The annual Wine & Bitch weekend at the Resort at Paws Up in Montana is a luxury vacation designed for you and your best canine friend. You'll enjoy wine tasting by Mutt Lynch Winery and exquisite rustic ranch cuisine while your pooch will rejuvenate with doggie spa treatments and gourmet treats. This year, Andrew will be casting dog for the final edition of Rover. Join us April 29 through May 1, 2011 for a "four-paw event at a five-star" resort.
