Lifechangers: How to Watch Your Blood Pressure
Heart disease is the #1 killer in America, and high blood pressure is a major factor.
"There are 76 million people in the U.S. that have high blood pressure," explained Walgreen's pharmacist Darshana Patel to "Extra's" Adrianna Costa. "What's more alarming is 1 out of 4 don't even know they have it!"
There are ways to keep on top of it, including know what your own blood pressure numbers. Also, eating a eating a low fat, low sodium diet helps. Patel said, "Eating foods that are whole grain fiber, lots of fruits and vegetables but definitely decrease your salt intake."
