Jesse has been playing the drums since age 8.

His little sister is former child actress Hallie Kate Eisenberg, who starred in "Beautiful" and "How to Eat Fried Worms."

No to NYU

Eisenberg studied at The New School in New York City's Greenwich Village. He also had applied and was accepted to New York University but declined enrollment in order to complete a film role.

'Roger Dodger'

Jesse starred in his first feature film, the 2002 "Roger Dodger," also starring Campbell Scott. Eisenberg plays the nephew of a smooth-talking man who takes him out on the town in search of sex. Eisenberg was sick during the filming of most of the nightclub scene and can be seen sweating in different parts of the scene from his illness.

Mom's a Professional Clown

Jesse's mother is a professional clown who has performed at children's birthday parties in their hometown of East Brunswick, N.J. for 20 years.

'The Squid and the Whale'

What's Next?

Jesse will star in the comedy "30 Minutes or Less," playing a pizza delivery driver who gets kidnapped by two fledgling criminals and forced to rob a bank within 30 minutes.
