'Idol' Boots Off Two More Finalists
Say so long to "American Idol" finalists Andrew Garcia and Katie Stevens.
Because of Michael "Big Mike" Lynche's big save last week by the judges, two singers had to get the boot during this week's Elvis-themed competition in Las Vegas.
Garcia's rendition of "Hound Dog" didn't thrill the judges Tuesday night. Guest mentor and last season's "Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert warned Garcia his "Dog" might be hanging a bit, but apparently he didn't take the advice to spice it up.
Meanwhile, Stevens' "Baby, What Do You Want Me to Do" annoyed Simon Cowell, but Ellen DeGeneres liked all the horns.
Both singers were appreciative of their experience, and Stevens' farewell song "Let It Be," which she killed with last week, left most of the audience in tears.
"You made half this room cry," host Ryan Seacrest told her, as her fellow finalists hugged her goodbye.
