Nicole Richie to Star in Sitcom
Nicole Richie is returning to the small screen.
Richie -- who was recently hospitalized with pneumonia -- will play a professional woman with difficult family relationships who is struggling to figure out what she wants to do with her life.
According to Variety, Richie had the original idea for the sitcom -- to be taped with one camera -- and will receive a producing credit.Richie -- who is mom to Sparrow and Harlow with beau Joel Madden -- also has a jewelry line.
