Adam Lambert 'Going in New Direction'
Adam Lambert: more tunes, less sex.
"AMA performance was a one time event. Goin in a new direction now. Focus back on the music," the "American Idol" runner-up posted on Twitter Monday.
Continued Lambert, "Don't worry friends: I'm still gonna be me. Always. W/o appologies. Just gonna experiment differently w how I present myself, I'm learning."
"And thank you all for your kind and supportive tweets. Means more than you can imagine. It was a looong week," he added.
On Nov. 22, he received harsh criticism for simulating oral sex and kissing a male band member at the American Music Awards; the next day he was bumped from a "Good Morning America" appearance. The kiss was blurred during Lambert's sit-down on the CBS "Early Show," leading gay-rights organizations to slam the network.
