Matt Damon 'Amazed' Oprah Is Quitting Show
Matt Damon is shocked that Oprah Winfrey is quitting her show in 2011.
"For good? Wow!" Damon, 39, responded when "Extra" broke the news to him Thursday at the New York City premiere of "The People Speak."
Damon added, "I'm amazed. I don't remember life without Oprah. I don't remember life before Oprah very well."
The Academy Award winner continued, "She's an amazing person, and she will continue to influence people no matter what she does. So I'm sure it'll be a bit of a shock at first... She's too incredible a spirit to not keep being a wonderful influence on American culture, so I'm sure she's got something up her sleeve for us."
