Despite their strong scores on Monday night, swimsuit model Joanna Krupa and professional partner Derek Hough were eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" before next week's season 9 finals.
"It's been such an amazing experience. Thank you to the judges," Krupa said after the elimination. She added, "I've grown as a person and thank you for giving me the opportunity. I had a great partner."
Krupa and Hough then danced their Viennese Waltz to "Hallelujah" while the credits rolled.
The show was jam-packed with other performances too. The audience got a sneak peek at a dance sequence from the upcoming musical "Nine," and Alicia Keys and Leona Lewis also took the stage to sing. Season 8 finalist Melissa Rycroft returned to the dance floor for a barefoot performance with former partner Tony Dovolani while the Bee Gees sang their 1970s anthem, "You Should Be Dancing."
Reality TV star Kelly Osbourne, singer Mya and performer Donny Osmond will compete in the finals on Monday.
