John Mayer Jokingly Dodges Relationship Questions
Singer/songwriter John Mayer tells "Extra" he has to look at the covers of magazines to see what's going on in his life.
"I'm just leafing through Us Weekly to see what I'm doing so I can go do it," Mayer said at a press junket Monday for his new album "Battle Studies."
When asked if there is "anyone special" in the Grammy winner's life, Mayer played it coy, saying, "Everyone's special."
The 32-year-old has had Jessica Simpson on his arm, and showed up to the 2009 Oscars with Jennifer Aniston, but Mayer thinks of himself as an average guy.
"I imagine my experiences on a core level aren't that much different than everyone else in the world. I think everybody's been to the Oscars," Mayer jokes.
