JT Granted Restraining Order against 'Stalker'
Justin Timberlake can breathe easy -- a fan described in court docs as an "obsessed and mentally unstable stalker" -- has been orderd to stay away from the singer.
According to court documents obtained by KTLA 5, a Los Angeles judge ordered the restraining order against Karen J. McNeil, a 48-year-old woman that has been trespassing on Justin's property and leaving him notes.
Timberlake "does not personally know or have any relationship with McNeil," the legal papers claim. Karen most recently got through security measures and on to the "Sexy Back" singer's property on Thursday. Timberlake's filing describes McNeil's more recent attempts at communication with JT as "much more alarming and her motivation and obsession have become more ominous, intrusive and threatening."
Thursday marks the third reported trip that Karen made to Justin's home. The defendant was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Justin, his home and his car.
Another hearing to discuss the case is scheduled for November 9.
