McCartney: Jackson was a 'Massively Talented Boy Man'
Sir Paul McCartney has released a statement about his "happy" memories of Michael Jackson.
McCartney has said, "I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy man with a gentle soul. His music will be remembered forever and my memories of our time together will be happy ones."
The megastars worked together on numerous tracks including Jackson's "The Girl Is Mine" and McCartney's solo tracks "Say Say Say" and "The Man." In 1985, the friends had a falling out after Jackson won a bidding war for the rights to songs from the Beatles catalogue. He bought the rights for $47.5 million and a decade later sold about 250 songs to Sony for $95 million.
