Scarlett Johansson showed off her diamond from fiancé Ryan Reynolds -- and a flashy smile to match -- at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday. The blonde beauty wore Dolce & Gabbana; literally and figuratively -- she was escorted by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana and wore a gown by the talented pair.

Johansson, 23, skipped out on chatting with the press, but her colleagues shared their congratulations on the news of her engagement.
Designer Marc Jacobs, who has worked with the actress, told Us Weekly, "I'm really happy for her. If she's in love, that's great. I just hope that she's happy and wish her all the best."
The actress, often labeled one of the sexiest women alive, disappointed actor Ed Westwick when she was formally taken off of the market. "Damn, I'm disappointed," joked the "Gossip Girl" actor, "I missed my chance. The boat has sailed."
