Ryan's 'Strange Situation'
It's been nearly two years since Ryan Phillippe split with Reese Witherspoon, but seeing her move on isn't any easier. "It's bizarre," the "Stop/Loss" star tells USA Today of seeing his ex-wife with Jake Gyllenhaal. "There's plenty of times when I say, 'What a strange situation I've found myself in.' But at a certain point you know it's going to happen, so you are prepared."
Ryan, 33, and Reese, 31, called it quits in 2006 after seven years of marriage. At the time of the split, tabloids accused Ryan of falling for his "Stop/Loss" co-star, Abbie Cornish, but he doesn't address the rumors. "It's just something I would really rather not address," he said. "It has to be a 'no comment.'"
And while Ryan called the months after his divorce "the worst time of my life," he said he's finally moving on. "At this point in time, I feel in a pretty good place."
