Kirstie Alley Starting New Weight-Loss Brand
She battled her way from “Fat Actress” to slim sensation. But now is trimmer Kirstie Alley parting ways with Jenny Craig to strike out on her own?

Kirstie, 57, told People that she hopes to “develop and pilot my own weight-loss brand that I hope to launch in 2009.”
There is no word yet on what Kirstie's new program may entail, but she said that after much negotiating, she and Jenny couldn't come to an agreement.
Alley said there are no hard feelings with Jenny after their three-year partnership, calling her experience with the company “extraordinary.”
“I want to create something new that will help millions of people end the seemingly never ending fatty-rollercoaster ride,” she said.
