Inside Brit’s Custody Hearing
Attorneys for Britney Spears have returned to court in the first custody hearing since the troubled pop star's latest breakdown.
Jamie Spears is present at the hearing today without the company of his daughter or her ex-hubby, Kevin Federline.
Britney hasn't seen in her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, since the Jan. 3 standoff with police in which she reportedly held Jayden hostage.
She is currently barred from seeing her boys and is only allowed telephonic contact.
Kevin Federline is currently seeking full custody, but reports say Britney could be granted some sort of limited physical access.
Today's hearing could also see a change in Brit's legal team. L.A attorney Sorrell Trope has asked – twice – to be removed from her case.
Trope reportedly requested a gag order in the case, but the judge has denied the request.
If passed, the gag order would have barred anyone involved from speaking publicly about anything going on behind courtroom doors.
