Farrah Fawcett Appears To Be Cancer-Free, Says Cher
Farrah Fawcett is ready to set the record straight about her health.
The "Charlie's Angels" star is returning home this week with the news she's been longing for: she appears to be cancer-free.
With longtime love Ryan O'Neal by her side, the iconic star returned home from one of her alternative cancer treatments in Germany.
Now Farrah's dear friend Cher is revealing it was her idea for Farrah to visit the treatment center because it's where Cher was cured of a debilitating Epstein-Barr virus that she says kept her bed-ridden for two years.
"She's one tough girl because I couldn't have gone through what she's been through," Cher told "Extra" backstage at the Grammys. "I've spoken to her all the time she's been in Germany."
Cher and Farrah first bonded on the set of the “Sonny and Cher Show” more than 30 years ago when Farrah was a guest star. The two grew even closer when Cher starred opposite Ryan O'Neal in “Faithful.”
"I have so much respect for her,” Cher said. "So much more than I had, because I've seen her go through so much."
