Just moments after being released from what was supposed to be a 14-day hospital stay, Britney Spears was seen entering the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she bumped into California's first lady Maria Shriver.
Sources from inside tell "Extra" that Britney was calm and smiling after the mob of paparazzi were kicked out of the lobby. While sitting in a corner, Maria Shriver entered the lobby and introduced herself to Spears.
After their meeting, Shriver and a friend accompanying her were heard saying "There ought to be a law against those guys," referring to the paparazzi.
Earlier in the day, Brit and Adnan Ghalib had visited the offices of her new attorney, who is trying to stop Jamie Spears' conservatorship over his daughter. Hours later, Adnan reportedly snuck Britney out of the building by hiding her in his car under a black blanket. The two then headed to the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Later that evening, Britney's dad was seen entering the hotel, reportedly begging Britney to leave. The two eventually returned to Brit's Beverly Hills home, where her mom Lynne and Adnan were waiting. The concerned parents stayed with Britney the whole night.
