Rosie's Comedy Routine Pokes Fun at Britney, Whitney
Rosie O'Donnell took aim at several stars last night as she took the stage at New York's Comedy Festival.
The former “View” co-host, who began her career in standup, at first reached out to Britney Spears, saying, “I want her to come live with me.”
But she later took a shot at herself when she said it's “not appropriate for a 45-year old, overweight lesbian!”
Rosie also weighed in on Kirstie Alley's new 145-pound figure, saying, “In what universe?” and blasted Paula Abdul and Whitney Houston. “Whitney and Paula both need to go on that show 'Intervention!'” she said as the crowd roared.
Rosie opened the show with fellow comedienne Roseanne Barr. When the two-hour routine ended, the crowd gave a standing ovation.
