Rosie O'Donnell Reaches Out to Britney Spears
As Britney Spears suffers the fallout from her disastrous MTV Video Music Awards performance, she has found one unlikely ally: Rosie O'Donnell.
Rosie writes on her blog that she's "been trying to get to her" in response to a fan's insistence that she would be a good influence on the troubled pop star.
Rosie dropped another bombshell on her blog: that her new book, "Celebrity Detox," actually upset former "View" co-host Barbara Walters!
Though "Extra" reported yesterday that Barbara has read the book and says she wants to "concentrate on the love that she sent," Rosie is admitting there is a different story.
In response to a fan asking what Barbara thought of the book, Rosie writes, "It hurt her feelings."
As for the expected firestorm surrounding the release of the book, Rosie writes, "Engage deflector shields."
