I was so excited and motivated to start the SELF program that I planned out my meals and went grocery shopping for the first half of the week before the program even started. When the program actually began, the pre-planning I had done made it really easy to stick to healthy and controlled portion eating. I never felt deprived and even made room for dessert everyday. I really enjoy walking already so the SELF walking program was great for me as it revved up my consistent walking by using interval training. The strength training was much more difficult for me as I quickly learned my arms are not very strong. I can't wait to see the improvement in my arms by the end of the program. So far so good!
