Inside the Star-Studded Beckham Bash
Tom Cruise is in Berlin this week filming the controversial new drama "Valkyrie," in which he plays a German officer planning to assassinate Adolf Hitler - but "Extra" can reveal he has big plans when he gets home!
As soon as he wraps filming, Tom will fly back to Los Angeles this weekend to throw a giant, private bash for new best friends David and Victoria Beckham.
The star-studded "Welcome to Los Angeles" party will be hosted by Tom and Katie along with fellow power-couple, friends Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
The bash will be held Sunday night at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary in downtown Los Angeles, just one day after David's hugely anticipated debut with the L.A. Galaxy.
David told "Extra" last week that the move to Los Angeles from England wouldn't have been the same without Tom and Katie.
"He's been a true friend to me, and Katie's been the same to Victoria," David said.
The 600-person, invitation-only list includes Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, Steven Spielberg, Jim Carrey and all of the biggest producers in Hollywood.
But Oprah told "Extra" today that she won't be able to make it.
Oprah will be happy to hear, however, that Tom and Katie reportedly just purchased a mega-mansion just down the block from her estate in Montecito, so they can throw house parties together any time they want.
