Rod Stewart Weds Longtime Love Penny Lancaster
Rod Stewart tied the knot over the weekend with his girlfriend of seven years, model Penny Lancaster.
Stewart, 62, wed Penny, 36, on Saturday in a small town on the Italian Riviera.
"The couple exchanged vows in the presence of 100 family and friends," Stewart's camp said.
Earlier in the day, Lancaster's parents were the only witnesses to see the couple wed in a small civil ceremony. "It was just a family thing," one of Stewart's bodyguards told Reuters.
After the wedding, the pair met up with their 19-month-old son, Alastair, at a nearby restaurant where there was dinner, dancing and fireworks.
The newlyweds later sailed away on Stewart's 164-foot luxury yacht.
