Elisabeth Hasselbeck Speaks Out on Fight with Rosie!
Elisabeth told “Extra” exclusively that despite this morning's fight that led to Rosie calling her “cowardly,” their friendship will endure!
“I am fine,” she said. “We are used to debating things there. You have women who care a lot about things."
Elisabeth defended her clash with Rosie, explaining, “We're honest, and we deal with things up front. I'm not a person to put aside my inner feelings for somebody and not deal with an issue just because of their name and who they are.”
She even sees the good out of all the hoopla, saying, “For two women who disagree on many things – socially, politically – we also have a lot of passion. I'd rather be dealing with someone with passion for this world that we live in than someone with apathy.”
Even though she hasn't spoken to Rosie since the fight, she says, “I believe that we are mature women who can resolve, and I hope we can. I've been able to develop a friendship with Rosie, and I would hope that a disagreement or a heated debate wouldn't be the end of a relationship.”
As for getting back to “The View” tomorrow, Elisabeth admitted, “It'll be a little awkward, I'm sure. Whenever we have a heated debate, the next day is awkward. I bet we'll talk about some fun things."
The only hang-up is Rosie won't be there tomorrow!
She's just posted on her website, "tomorrow kelli turns 40/ i will not be at work."
But will Rosie ever return? She also wrote, “It may be time to be done.”
