'American Idol' Judges Trade Jabs for Gabs in Las Vegas
The entire “Idol” gang jetted off to Las Vegas this weekend following a few weeks of heated controversy.
While Simon, Randy and Ryan let loose, they all agreed that it was Paula's night to be idolized, as the Nevada Ballet Theater honored her as its “Woman of the Year.”
Our Terri Seymour, and Simon Cowell's girlfriend, was with the woman of the hour, who admitted, “I've never been Woman of the Year before. It's quite a title; a title that Simon can't take away from me.”
Also on hand were a few former “Idols,” who flew in to honor Abdul.
Billboard chart topper Chris Daughtry provided the entertainment, but surprisingly, it was Simon who led the Paula love fest.
“This show, trust me, needs a heart,” Cowell acknowledged. “You supply the heart to our show.”
“We all stopped everything we are doing to be here to support our own,” Ryan revealed.
The love fest continued all night, but we just had to ask Simon about the recent criticism that he is too mean this season.
“Ryan told me to call the gentleman in question a bush baby,” Cowell insisted.
Seacrest played along, adding, “Everything that he says on the show, I tell him to do it.”
But before the “Idol” gang took off to celebrate Paula's big night, we did get Simon's lady love to hold him to this promise: “I will never call anyone one of those things again, alright?”
